Here's what Henry was doing...
Breastfeeding 5 times per day
Solid Food 3 times per day + Sippy cup of water/juice
Napping 2 times per day
Sleeping in his Crib Overnight 12 hours
8 through 9 ½ Months
7:00 Wake and Breastfeed
7:00 Breastfeed and Bed
Daylight savings occurred during this period shifting everything up from our prior 6 a.m. start time. My son did not magically start sleeping until 7 a.m. instead of 6 a.m. If I knew how to make such a thing happen, it would be magic indeed!
As rough as daylight savings is with a baby... it helped me to eliminate the late afternoon nap. He was going down for his last nap between 4 and 4:30 p.m. With daylight savings, I was not willing to put him down for a nap after 5 p.m. so I cut that one out. Some days he woke around 3 p.m. from his afternoon nap and it was a long stretch until bedtime, but he smoothed that out and started sleeping until at least 3:30-3:45 most days.
Looking at the world from his own perspective...
